What emotion do we want to convey to those who pour Terre di Cleta oil on their table?

Terre di Cleta was born from our desire to pay homage to our homeland, Calabria, through a high-quality extra virgin olive oil that conveys the vitality and richness of a region that has always fascinated us. Like Cleta, the Greek Amazon who, surprised by a storm, landed on the Calabrian coast and chose to make it her home, we too continue to be enchanted by this generous region. The oil evokes that very emotion: the moment of arrival, the amazement at the abundance of nature, the scents and colours that preserve memory, roots and identity. It is a journey through history and myth, man and landscape, simplicity and elegance. Every drop of Terre di Cleta enriches the table and offers an experience of authentic connection with the land: an invitation to rediscover the beauty of genuine things, a gesture that speaks of care, attention and quality. Because Terre di Cleta is not just an oil. It is an emotion that comes from the earth and reaches the heart, passing through the palate.

How does the packaging support the product narrative and brand identity?

Terre di Cleta's packaging is an integral part of our identity: it is not just a container, but the narrator of our oil. Every colour and every detail of the label tells a fragment of our history and the values that guide us. The blue recalls the sea that bathes our coasts and evokes Cleta's journey, who arrived in Calabria attracted by the beauty of this land. Green is the colour of the hills and olive groves, a symbol of life and luxuriance; it is the colour of olive leaves and freshly pressed oil, nature's most sincere gift. Yellow, with its teardrop shape, immediately evokes oil and its natural fluidity. Finally, gold, the colour of the sun that warms our olive groves, is also the shade that best represents us: precious, luminous, a symbol of excellence. It is in the logo, on the neck of the bottle, and it is what gives the packaging its discreet elegance and jewel-like character, as if it were guarding a rare treasure. The bottle also tells our story: four different sides, like the four elements of nature, like the four colours of the label and like the four partners of Tenute Quattrò. Its design expresses balance, unity and shared strength: the same values we find in our oil.

What does winning a Pentawards mean to us?

Winning a Pentawards was a moment of pure emotion, a wonderful surprise that will stay with us forever. Seeing our bottle on the podium of such a prestigious award was a recognition that gave value to our work and to the uniqueness of Terre di Cleta. Immediately after its launch, the bottle was noticed and mentioned by several international packaging portals, including Dieline, World Brand Design and Fedrigoni Pulp; it was included in the Top 10 for May 2024 by Packaging of the World and exhibited at the FBIF Food Innovation Expo 2025 in Shanghai. The Pentawards confirmed what we felt: our bottle has a voice of its own. And our thanks go to Lorenzo Richiardi of Numeroquattro, who translated our vision into a form capable of engaging all the senses: it excites the eye, speaks to the touch with its embossed paper, evokes the scent of freshly pressed oil and culminates in the taste of an oil capable of delivering authentic emotions. We hope to see Terre di Cleta achieve even more extraordinary goals, continuing to tell the story of our land through every detail.

Looking to the future, what are your goals for Tenute Quattrò and how do you intend to develop the project and the brand?

We will continue to dedicate ourselves passionately to improving the quality of our oil through research, care of the land and constant attention to our plants. Terre di Cleta is a DNA certified oil, an approach that allows us to monitor every plant and every batch, ensuring transparency and absolute authenticity. The most advanced technologies help us track every stage of the process, ensuring that what arrives on the table is always impeccable. Our estate also has a citrus plantation, including the precious bergamot, which only grows in certain areas of Calabria. Soon, Terre di Cleta will be enriched with a citrus-flavored line, designed to offer an even more intense, fresh and vibrant experience.
